One of the reasons TV3 is gone, citizens had no chance to respond to the lies being issued by Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., which is (or was) a 501c3 that had direct ties to city hall, city hall contractually having rights to some of the assets.
A board member of the 501c3 specifically went on the air to bash this editor referencing the church that I go to. That was before the highly egregious Spotlight on City Hall which called Dr. William Wood, Tom Lincoln and myself, Joe Viglione, absurd things, Harvey Alberg himself joking that we couldn't go on the airwaves without his "supervision" - paraphrased and proof that they censored the message in Medford.
Why did the former mayor and his associates not step in and demand that the victims get time on the air for rebuttals?
Because the mayor's own cousin was the attorney for the station and city hall actually enjoyed people getting flogged by the station under the guise of free speech.
One of the board members actually worked at city hall and did nothing to help the residents get equal time on the public access station that they pay for.
More about this soon. But the double standards in the city are very real. In 13 years the Medford Police Dept. has not properly helped a victim of racial discrimination, religious discrimination (being this editor, who had to endure round the clock harassment of his religion on the TV station,) and other incidents that City Hall not only enjoyed, it appears that City Hall Medford facilitated the bashing of critics of city hall by its extension, the 501c3 it actually had contractual ties with.
