BOONTON — The high school was temporarily locked down Thursday after a threat was received by the district at the school.
As part of a regularly scheduled drug search at the school provided by the Morris County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit, the school was placed on a modified lockdown Thursday morning, said Superintendent Robert Presuto.
Coincidentally, while police were at the school, the administrative office became aware of some verbal threats made against the school last week, said Presuto. http://www.nj.com/morris/index.ssf/2016/02/threat_received_at_boonton_hs_admins_say.html
