UPDATE: Blount County Sheriff’s Office has man accused of hatchet murder in custody

UPDATE – The Blount County Sheriffs Office confirmed that inmate Justin Macneill is back in custody at the Blount County Correctional Facility.
Here’s the information we initially shared with you:
BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) –  According to our news partners at al.com, Justin Macneill has escaped from the Blount County Correctional Facility.
Macneill faces charges for allegedly beating a man to death with a hatchet it July of 2015.
