RE: Open Meeting Law Alleged Violation
On
6/14/17 a man from Revere (Russell Deluca-Kavanagh) stated he is part
of this committee. (*Complaint form, Page 1, Radio / TV Advisory
Committee.) Members of the city council and school committee never heard
of this commission.
Residents
are VERY active in access TV issues which, clearly, is why this
committee operated in the dark, controlled secretly by the mayor.
These
invisible meetings put our First Amendment rights at great risk. The
lack of transparency by Mayor Burke is not in the public interest.
WHAT ACTION DO YOU WANT THE PUBLIC BODY TO TAKE IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMPLAINT
Dissolve
this objectionable and offensive secret board. Have community people on
a new board to set up access and to prosecute MCC TV3 to the full
extent of the law, if necessary
