Since current councilor Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr. seems more aligned with McGlynn than his own family (how many years DID jr. jr. spend in the seminary? learning how to be a socially detached imbecile?) the personal opinion of many is that "Jr." (the current councilor) enjoys the attention city politics gives him and is going to snub the wishes of his family.
To further clarify (or complicate) matters another "anonymous" letter showed up in my mailbox today claiming Dello Russo is going to pull papers but not run.
