I received a questionnaire from the "transition team"

Enhancing Arts, Culture and Recreation in Medford

As part of her Transition Team, Mayor-elect Stephanie Muccini Burke has appointed a committee to recommend ways in which her administration can enhance and promote arts, cultural and recreation activities and opportunities in Medford.
Please help the committee by answering the two questions below.

What is the most important thing the Burke administration can do in each of these time frames – one month, three months, and six months – to help make your organization more successful?

Question #1

What is the most important thing the Burke administration can do in each of these time frames – one month, three months, and six months – to help make your organization more successful?
 Joe Viglione response:

Mrs. Burke MUST be a true "partner in progress."  The enormous amount of voters who were for Bob Penta feel ostracized by Muccini-Burke, some on the disability commission making outrageous accusations and lies on social media, promoting Burke and slamming others sends a clear message, that Medford is now polarized.   This is OUR community and many feel that the Burke campaign hit below the belt and reached a level of cruelty not seen in a Medford election prior to the McGlynn Administration, maybe never before in Medford's history. Mrs. Burke, by appointing Paul Camuso as "chair" of this commission, an individual who has harassed fellow councilors and citizens he wants to bully, was the clearest message that - like McGlynn - Muccini-Burke wants our ideas, but will claim them as her own. That is just not fair. She hasn't phoned me personally to say Hi after all I've done for her; in fact, just the opposite, her husband called me a vicious name in front of women and seniors.  Partners-in-Progress or more lies from the McGlynn Administration's heir apparent who benefited from not demanding access TV during the election.

Question 2

What is the most important thing the Burke administration can do to enhance and promote arts, culture and recreation activities and opportunities in Medford in general?
Speak at the city council and listen to the experts, not just her friends and supporters.   Bob Penta would have reached out to Mrs. Burke's followers had the votes been properly counted without interference from Edward P. Finn (who physically and verbally assaulted me on June 16th, the start of the ugliness of the Burke campaign.)  Sadly, Burke is running her new Administration before she's even in office with 2 members of the city council on her transition team (how redundant) stifling free speech at the city council.   These are her lieutenants conducting themselves in bullying fashion when we the people only want to know information about this transition team.  Mrs. Burke didn't run to city hall to tell Fred Dello Russo Jr. not to behave in such an immature and illegal way; she certainly didn't text Camuso to vote the right way.  This is a regime that forced its way in and wants our input only to take it from us and not give credit and not have us participate.

Thank you for your input!
