Mr. Rumley Needs to Step Down; Citizens Laughing at a Solicitor Repeatedly Is NOT good for Medford

Nathaniel Hawthorne

“No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be the true.

So many citizens, from Medford Square to Tempone Manor show little or no respect for a city solicitor.

We don't see the same buffoonery in Woburn, in Somerville, in towns like Stoneham and Winchester when it comes to the legal department in those cities and towns.

So why should Medford suffer the consequences of a lawyer who makes up his own rules and behaves badly?

It just isn't fair, and there is not a scintilla of honor in behavior which mirrors Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, because as the great literary historian and dear, departed friend of mine Ray McNally noted in the final interview I did with Ray (over about a 25 year period) at TV3, Medford,  Jekyll and Hyde were one and the same.

The kindly Dr. Jekyll (Jeee-kill, correct pronunciation) was running and "hyding" behind the dark mask.

Read writer Greg Buzwell's take on it and apply it to how Mark E. Rumley says one thing in contradiction to his actions; Mr. Rumley's actions (failing to press charges on MCC TV3) and his hyperbole and theatrics are always in conflict, leaving the taxpayers of Medford holding the bag with...nothing in it.... for the money they pay Rumley.

‘Man is not truly one, but truly two’: duality in Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

Curator Greg Buzwell considers duality in Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, exploring how the novel engages with contemporary debates about evolution, degeneration, consciousness, homosexuality and criminal psychology.
Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1886) is a late-Victorian variation on ideas first raised in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1818). Stevenson’s monster, however, is not artificially created from stitched-together body parts, but rather emerges fully formed from the dark side of the human personality.

MY PERSONAL OPINION, BASED ON INFORMATION AND BELIEF, IS THAT THE MORE MR. RUMLEY TRIES TO APPEAR BENEVOLENT AND CARING, AND THE MORE HIS ACTIONS BETRAY HIM, THAT HE EMERGES AS ONE OF THE MOST SINISTER INDIVIDUALS IN ALL OF MEDFORD.

ABSOLUTELY SINISTER.

YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE 501C3 FIZZLING PRESIDENT IS ALL ABOUT, MEAN, ANGRY AND UNABLE TO CONTROL HIS TEMPER.   HE'S EASY TO EXPOSE.

BUT RUMLEY, RUMLEY - WHO SAT ON A BOARD WITH THAT INDIVIDUAL, IS ANOTHER MATTER ALL TOGETHER.

BY FEIGNING HE IS OH SO CHARITABLE, AND BY FAILING TO DO ANYTHING OF SUBSTANCE, WE CAN SEE THE PERSONIFICATION OF SINISTER

adjstemming from evil characteristics or forces; wicked or dishonorable

evil
morally bad or wrong

For all his alleged care and concern, when the false charges were filed on a homosexual senior citizen after he was physically assaulted by an extremely VIOLENT ex football player, Ed Finn, the outwardly gregarious Rumley behaving like such a "people person," has a dark side, and that dark side emerges like the hour hand on a clock, creeping slowly, ever so slowly, till you notice that it is not 3 O'clock, it is now 4.  By surprise, the true nature of the individual reveals itself.

Hold up a mirror and he can't see his own reflection.

Robert Louis Stevenson was right!

A judge threw Rumley OFF the witness stand for "irrelevant" testimony.   Testimony aimed at  hurting and besmirching the man that Mark loathes and despises: this writer.

These Caraviello types have absolutely no shame, gaming the system, ignoring civil rights, stomping on free speech and other God-given and Constitution-bred freedoms.

Exploring the theme of duality, contradictions, deceptions will help you understand Medford, Massachusetts politics.

Awake oh sleeping giant, citizens of Medford.  Rise up and vote the bastards out of office.

My response to more of Rumley's deceptive correspondence:

Dear Mr. Rumley,

You told retired Judge Jackson-Thompson you are the free speech advocate.  Why not let me talk?  You can always hit delete.
Do you often say one thing in conflict with your actions?  You don't have to answer rhetorical questions, they are for the benefit of others in this community who - honestly, Mark, I say this without any malice, just objectivity, others who laugh at you.  Especially your ten dollar words.   I'm serious...this is just what others say to me about you.

The writings are to get information on public record.

They are not for your amusement, Mr. Rumley, they are my volunteer efforts to enlighten the public.

And, actually, Mr. Rumley, my writings have:

1)Helped remove the former mayor's uncle from the Housing Authority   As I recall, you jumped up to object when I was taping the event; you stated it was a separate "body politic" yet your knee-jerk reaction was an attempt to stifle my free speech, which resulted in the removal of a board member

a)You called it a separate body from city hall, but your actions - again - were in conflict with your words.

b)Your claim of finding the city controlling free speech "repugnant" was not honest; you tried to stifle my free speech at the housing authority having about as much power as the wicked witch in Munchkinland: none.

2)Finally brought down TV3; something you were required to do for the citizens of this municipality harassed and threatened by brutes and thugs   Funny how you get hundreds of thousands of dollars for NOT doing your job, I do the job and get sued or litigated against. Funny how that works. Not.

3)My exploration into Bob Maiocco's troubles at Wells Fargo enlightened a city council he buffaloed.  Mr. Maiocco resigned, perhaps not-so-coincidentally after my articles effectively informed his council colleagues of what should be considered wrongful conduct by Maiocco

4)You claim not to despise or loathe me, yet your documented e mails to one of my lawyers where - incredibly - you warn him to stay away from his client (I have paid that particular lawyer a LOT of money, your crude and abusive act could have resulted in money loss for a fellow brother lawyer.)

What would possess a city lawyer to take it upon himself to tell a brother lawyer to stay away from a long-time friend and client?
Clearly, a city solicitor terrified that a smart pro se litigant also has a number of smart lawyers around him.

...you allowed a vicious, malicious lawsuit to go forward knowing that it was baseless.  Indeed, the night of the arraignment when a judge gave me PERMISSION to speak at the council prior to my being victorious over the dishonest councilor, Caraviello, who filed the malicious action, the police showed up.

As I recall, you and Mr. Caraviello were outside Alden Chambers with three officers of the law.  When I told Officer Ghilain that the judge gave me PERMISSION to attend council meetings, you were beet red, angry and ready to go Vesuvius...  allegedly, you and Mr. Caraviello were attempting to buffalo the police into thinking you had a restraining order on an innocent man when you did not.

I did hear from a politician last night on my phone (Not Marks, Lungo-Koehn or Penta, keep guessing) congratulating me on my investigation into the McKillop/.McGlynn alleged "partnership."  That person made a statement that  ..."Rumley fears you."

Given your penchant for belittling Michael Marks or my late friend Pat Fiorello (the guy passed away and you and Mr. Camuso were labeling me as a man with Alzheimer's...that was truly below the belt) or your quoting Frank PIlleri who calls everyone and the lamp post "delusional," I see a city solicitor who has long worn out his welcome.

As I am a forgiving man I would absolutely meet you for coffee the moment you resign, even interview you on my radio show on the good things you have done for our community, few as they may be.

However, as long as you remain in an office where you are a detriment to this municipality, with God as my judge, I will continue to write, investigate and demonstrate to this community the very bad things your interference in city matters have accomplished, and how Mark Rumley is not a public servant, but part of a truly sick cabal of insiders who have gamed the system, robbed us of true access television, and who allow violent acts as Mr. Finn engaged in, or underhanded lies to the police, as Caraviello engaged in, and think nothing of their moral obligation to the taxpayers of this city.

A person you know said to me "You got rid of Uncle Gene, you'll get rid of Frank Pilleri."

Adam Knight purportedly said to Michael Marks "F...ng Joe Vig's blog got rid of the mayor"  (as dirty a mouth as Brian S. Burke)

Mr. Marks told me that he replied "Yesss.....and now he's coming for you."

Truer words were never spoken!

My writings continue.  And with the effective way that my Facebook live events have given citizens a new way to see city government at work, I am quite sure I can accomplish my new goals - the removal of Belson, Muccini-Burke, Rumley, the Camuso clan and other jokers from city government.

Where's our tv station, Mark?  Muccini-Burke got your tongue?  Be a man, do your job.

Give us our access television this week.
