Lynn Item trying to replace Medford Daily Mercury in Medford. http://www.itemlive.com/news/lynn-loss-is-medford-gain/

I found a copy of the Lynn Item at the Daily Mart, 267 Spring St in Haines Sq, however another local store said that they "sent them back."

Is the City Clerk using a Lynn newspaper to post legal notices? That is the rumor that we've heard from inside city hall, and you know how our rumors have turned out...to be 100% correct.

We'll ask Ed Finn soon if he is utilizing a Lynn newspaper allegedly for Medford legal notices.

LYNN — Longtime city Health Director MaryAnn O’Connor is leaving her job to become Medford’s new health director.
The Lynn native and St. Mary’s High School Class of 1979 graduate said the new gig offers a chance to tackle health initiatives she has worked on in Lynn, including teen smoking reduction, opiate abuse intervention and exercise promotion.
“I hope to do some good things there,” she said.
With a population of roughly 57,000, Medford is about half Lynn’s size.
